Japanese limited edition lithograph with gold leaf by Shuji Wako (b. 1953) titled “Maze” dated circa 1984. The image features a maze resting upon a luxurious textured textile decorated with taiko drums, all set against a black velvet background. The print is pencil-signed “S. Wako” at the lower right margin and numbered 18/35 in the lower left margin. The lower right edge holds the title. The paper measures about 19 5/8” x 23” (image: 16 1/2” x 20 1/8”). The print is in excellent condition. One back corner has a few slightly distressed fibers. This print was purchased new in Japan in 1984 and is from a Scottsdale, Arizona collection.
