Japanese limited edition color etching and aquatint titled "Le Tournoi II" (The Tournament II) by Taiwan artist Shaih Li-fa (Xie Lifa) dated 1968. Pencil-signed, titled, and numbered 3/25 in the bottom margin. Xie Lifa (b. 1938) studied drawing and sculpture in Paris in the 1960s before relocating to the U.S. in 1968 to focus on printmaking. Paper size: 17 1/2" x 15" (plate: 11 1/2" x 9 1/4"). Printed on heavy rag paper with large margins. Very good overall condition. There is a visible mat burn around the image where the prior mat ended and there is some slight discoloration on the back. A gallery label attached to the back gives the provenance of Lee Nordness Galleries in NYC.
