Heavy and solidly potted Chinese Qing dynasty baluster form porcelain jar decorated in the transitional style in underglaze blue with lotus flower heads among dense scrolling foliage set against a white ground. A border extends around the short, white glazed upright neck. The interior is fully glazed. 19th century. 12” high. Weighs 8 lbs. Very good overall condition.
