Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled "Hirosaki Castle" by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) dated Showa 10 (1935). First edition impression with "jizure" (self-printed) seal in the upper left margin. The artist's black ink brush signature and red seal is at the lower left and the print is pencil-signed in the lower right margin. Illustrated in "The Complete Woodblock Prints of Yoshida Hiroshi," Abe Publications, color plate #192. Paper measures 15 3/4" x 10 1/2" (image size: 14 5/8" x 9 5/8"). Crisp image in good overall condition with full margins and no tape or tape stains. Minor fading. Toning on the back shows through slightly to the front. The paper is somewhat distressed on back (possibly from baren rubbing) and the paper is slightly worn with light crinkles.
