Japanese shin hanga woodblock print depicting sailboats under a full moon viewed through a pine branch titled "Full Moon at Akashi Beach" by Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) dated in the left margin "Showa 9" (1934) with the title above. The black ink signature and red seal of the artist are at the lower right corner of the image. Post World War II edition with the Watanabe 6mm circular seal at the lower left corner. Paper measures 15 3/8" x 10 1/2" (image: 14 1/4" x 9 1/2"). Very good overall condition with a clean back. The print is lightly faded and sunstruck, and there is faint toning visible at the upper left margin. Two pinholes are in the left margin.
